Branding and social

Lucha-inspired identity, a comic-strip origin story for Ricky himself, and a social feed with personality.

Packaging

We drew the luchador pattern, then put it on everything the food touches: wrap paper, bags, cups, bowls and napkins.

The website

A one-page ordering site that behaves like the brand: loud, quick, and pointed straight at the delivery apps. Built mobile first, because that is where the hungry people are.

Food photography, shot in house

Every plate on the site is ours. No stock, no borrowed tacos. One day, one kitchen, our own camera and a lot of hot sauce.

The challenge

Kitchens sitting half-idle from 4pm to 10pm, and a parent brand that couldn't stretch that far without losing itself.

Our approach

  1. 01

Build a separate brand with its own attitude, so the parent brand stays untouched.

  2. 02

Mexican street food meets lucha libre: loud, funny, and very easy to spot in a delivery app.

  3. 03

Identity, site and social built as one kit so it could launch fast and cheap.
